BOX-2B-FIT℠ has a team of fighters that compete in various disciplines but participation on the team is not for everyone and is at the discretion of our Boxing Coach Santos.
Coach Santos is USA Boxing Certified “Level 1 Coach” and a Licensed Pro Trainer in North Carolina, South Carolina, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Our fighters are hand selected as the demands of regular training and actual combat are rigorous and demanding.
We are proud of our team, and our fighters benefit from the support of the entire gym.
HOW CAN YOU JOIN OUR TEAM?:
BOX-2B-FIT℠ well the process is somewhat informal though by no means arbitrary.
Sometimes we spot someone who we think has what it takes and invite them to join, other times we are approached by interested members who then must prove their suitability.
WE TEACH AND YOU LEARN:
BOX-2B-FIT℠ boxing program teaches you a comprehensive boxing curriculum whether you want to keep fit, learn boxing as a skill, for self-defense or participate in amateur bouts.
The initial focus is foundation training that teaches you the fundamentals and the drills that cut the learning curve in half and from there you will learn boxing basics including correct stance, standard punching combinations, and essential defensive/offensive techniques followed by correct foot and hand placement, basic footwork and combinations, and how to move in the ring while throwing punches.
We also incorporate strategy training, and proven conditioning methods to keep you fit to fight at all times and we also offer Advanced Boxing Tech for clients who already have boxing experience and want to hone their skills.
WE HAVE 3 LEVELS OF TRAINING:
BOX-2B-FIT℠ LEVEL 1 BOXING:
Consists of basic technique and conditioning and it is a great class for anyone wanting to learn the basics and get in the best shape of their lives.
You will learn the initial fundamentals of boxing and there will be no sparring, however you will participate in partner technique and conditioning drills.
This class is great for those who want to learn the basics, you will have the option to take it to the next level or just reward yourself with the amazing benefits that boxing training produces.
BOX-2B-FIT℠ LEVEL 2 BOXING:
Is more advanced and designed to take you to sparring level but you must have completed LEVEL 1 and been approved by the boxing coach to progress to LEVEL 2.
Structured boxing training along with sparring will take your skills and sharpen them while working with other Boxing Team members and your Coach.
LEVEL 2 also requires that you have all the safety gear, such as the head gear, gum guards, groin protector etc.
BOX-2B-FIT℠ LEVEL 3 BOXING:
Is for those who wish to compete on a local and national level with USA Boxing.
Your Coach will work with you and others to develop you through conditioning, technical boxing training, sparring and nutritional guidance and keep you on the narrow track to success in the amateurs.
